Before you ask, it’s not a stage name! Leo Brazil has been crafting his own music since childhood, starting with songs recorded on a tape machine in his room. Drawing inspiration from classic pop, rock and roll, and soul, Leo’s songwriting also finds unique resonance in the natural world — where animals and landscapes mirror deep personal emotions and stories.
Operating from his home studio under his own label, Leo channels an evolving sound that blends acoustic, folk, rock, and psychedelia into something strikingly distinct. After a series of well-received releases in 2025 — including collaborations and early material from his forthcoming acoustic-based solo record Alone — Leo also released the debut single from his dinosaur-themed psych-rock quartet, Bone Wars, hailed by The Big Takeover as “forward-thinking, fresh and familiar.”

A true multi-instrumentalist, Leo performs drums, keyboards, and violin in the studio while focusing on guitars and banjo for live shows, where his rich back catalogue of self-penned songs comes to life. His performances are imbued with warmth, wit, and musical curiosity — reflecting the same creative spark that defines his recordings.

Leo has supported an eclectic list of legendary and contemporary artists including The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Son of Dave, Floral Image, The Blow Monkeys, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Chris Helme, Space, Miles Hunt, Romeo and Michele Stodart, The Blues Band, Seamus Fogerty, Liela Moss, The Rails, AK/DK, and Scott Lavene among many others.
